Florida  Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

A White Springs man is behind bars without bond after investigators say they uncovered disturbing evidence linking him to child sexual abuse material, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

FDLE agents arrested 30-year-old Jeffrey Stormant at his home on Monday following an investigation sparked by a tip received last month. Authorities say the tip suggested Stormant had been downloading child pornography, prompting agents to launch a digital investigation into the activity.

Ongoing Investigation

After gathering sufficient evidence, agents took Stormant into custody and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail. He now faces 22 felony charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material. At this time, he is being held without bond, and no court date has been publicly announced.

FDLE has not released further details about the case, including the nature of the content discovered or whether additional suspects may be involved. The agency emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and that no other information is available for release.
