Wisconsin Herd Golf Outing Honors Legacy of Joe Wolf

The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will host the Joe Wolf Memorial Golf Outing to celebrate the life and legacy of their former assistant coach, Joe Wolf. The event, set for August 27 at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisconsin, promises a day of camaraderie and remembrance while raising funds for causes Wolf championed.

Registration is open for individuals and groups of four at herdgolf.givesmart.com. Participants can look forward to a full day of activities, including 18 holes of golf, a shared golf cart, lunch, dinner, a drink ticket, a $50 gift card to the Wisconsin Herd Pro Shop, and a ticket to a 2025-26 Wisconsin Herd home game. Check-in begins at 8 a.m., with tee-off at 9 a.m., followed by a dinner reception and awards ceremony.

The outing will also feature a raffle with exciting prizes, such as NBA and NBA G League jerseys, to support the Joe Wolf Foundation. The foundation funds youth development programs, food distribution for those in need, cancer research, and heart disease prevention causes close to Wolf’s heart. “Joe was a mentor and a friend to so many in the basketball community,” said a Wisconsin Herd spokesperson in a recent statement. “This event keeps his spirit alive while supporting the charities he cared about.”

Joe Wolf, a Kohler native, left an indelible mark on basketball over his 37-year career. He played 12 seasons in the NBA and coached for 25 years across college, the CBA, the  NBA G League, and the NBA. Known for his dedication and leadership, Wolf’s influence extended beyond the court, touching countless lives through his commitment to community service.
