Suspect Still on the Run as Two Arrested for Aiding in Lake County Murders

Two men from Jackson, Tennessee, have been arrested for allegedly helping the main suspect in a quadruple homicide that occurred in Lake County earlier this week, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). The primary suspect, 28-year-old Austin Drummond, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

TBI agents arrested 29-year-old Tanaka Brown and 29-year-old Giovonte Thomas, both of whom now face charges of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. The charges stem from the investigation into the brutal killing of four individuals: 21-year-old Matthew Wilson, 20-year-old Adrianna Williams, 38-year-old Cortney Rose, and 15-year-old Braydon Williams.

All four victims were reportedly related to an infant who had been found abandoned in Tennessee, linking the tragic homicides to a disturbing chain of events. Authorities have not yet shared how Brown and Thomas assisted Drummond, but confirmed that their involvement came to light during the ongoing investigation.

Brown has been booked into the Lake County Jail and is being held without bond. Thomas, who was already in custody at the Madison County Jail on separate charges, is expected to be transferred to Lake County to face arraignment for the new charges tied to the murder case.

Drummond, meanwhile, has yet to be apprehended. His continued absence has heightened the urgency of the manhunt. Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in locating him. Anyone with information about Drummond’s whereabouts is urged to contact authorities immediately.
