He then rode an elevator to the 33rd floor, entered the offices of Rudin Management, killed a fourth civilian, and fatally shot himself in the chest.

Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed that Tamura acted alone. He carried a Nevada concealed‑carry permit and drove cross‑country from Las Vegas to New York, passing through Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa and New Jersey.
