Authorities in Tennessee are conducting an urgent search for 28-year-old Austin Robert Drummond, who is wanted in connection with the murder of four family members. The victims, identified as James M. Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Cortney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15, were found dead earlier this week. The case has drawn national attention, particularly after a seven-month-old baby, believed to be the child of Wilson and Adrianna Williams, was found unharmed in a car seat, left in a front yard.

Drummond is currently wanted on four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping, and multiple weapons charges, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). A $15,000 reward has been offered for information leading to his capture. Officials describe him as “armed and dangerous” and urge the public to avoid any contact with the suspect.

The infant, who was left at the scene by Drummond, is now in safe custody. TBI Director David Rausch stated during a news conference that Drummond had intentionally alerted nearby residents to the presence of the baby. “While this was an extremely tragic and violent event,” Rausch said, “there was a sign of compassion.” He suggested that the act might indicate Drummond is still willing to cooperate with authorities.

District Attorney Danny Goodman confirmed that the attack appears to have been targeted, as Drummond had known connections to the victims. Cortney Rose, one of the deceased, was the mother of both Adrianna and Braydon Williams. No specific details regarding the manner of death have been released.

The car Drummond was believed to be driving was located in Jackson, Tennessee—approximately 70 miles from where the victims were found and 40 miles from where the baby was left. Drummond’s criminal history includes a 2014 conviction for aggravated robbery. He had completed his sentence in September 2024 but remained under investigation for further charges, including an attempted murder that occurred during his incarceration. At the time of the recent killings, he was reportedly out on bond related to those ongoing cases.

Family members expressed shock following the murders. A relative told NBC News that Drummond had been viewed as trustworthy and caring, stating, “We all trusted him.”

The investigation remains active, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact law enforcement immediately.
