Houston Police Ask for Public’s Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspects in Two Smoke Shops

The Houston Police Department (HPD) is seeking the public’s help to identify four female suspects involved in two aggravated smoke shop robberies that occurred within hours of each other on the same night.

According to HPD’s Robbery Division, the first incident happened on June 27 at approximately 9:30 p.m. at a smoke shop located in the 3800 block of Center Street in Deer Park, Texas. Authorities believe the suspects, all women, carried out a coordinated robbery involving weapons and threats toward store staff.

Roughly an hour later, the same group allegedly struck again, this time at a smoke shop in the 12100 block of Northwest Freeway in Houston. At around 10:30 p.m., the four suspects entered the store, with one acting as a lookout near the entrance while the other three confronted the employee. Two of the women reportedly brandished handguns and demanded money from the register. The group made off with both cash and merchandise before fleeing the scene in an unidentified vehicle.

Investigators believe both robberies are linked based on witness descriptions and the similar method of operation.

Law enforcement officials are now urging anyone with information that could lead to the suspects’ identification or arrest to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for tips that lead to charges or an arrest. The investigation remains ongoing, and police are hopeful that public assistance will help bring the suspects to justice.
