Heavy Police Activity in Cimarron Hills as Deputies Probe Multiple Crime Scenes

A late-night investigation unfolded in Cimarron Hills on Friday as El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to several locations in the same neighborhood.

Authorities were called to the 6400 block of Omaha Boulevard at around 11:00 pm, where they were seen examining multiple crime scenes. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) did not immediately release any official details regarding the nature of the incidents.

An 11 News crew present at the scene reported a significant law enforcement presence and observed yellow crime scene tape surrounding a barbecue restaurant, a bakery, and a residence directly across the street. All three locations appeared to be under active investigation.

Deputies temporarily shut down a section of Omaha Boulevard near the intersection of Minnetonka Place, limiting vehicle access as officers secured the area and gathered evidence. The scene remained active well into the night.

As of now, it is still unclear what prompted the emergency response, how the locations are connected, or if any arrests have been made. Deputies on-site declined to comment or provide any additional information to reporters.

The nature of the incident and whether there were any injuries or suspects involved have not yet been confirmed. While the presence of crime scene tape suggests that investigators are treating the situation seriously, the public has been left with few answers as the investigation continues.
