Ohio Man Charged After Following Woman Home and Assaulting Her Husband in Road Rage Incident

An Ohio man is facing a string of serious charges after allegedly following a woman to her home during a road rage episode, forcing his way inside, and assaulting her husband, all while his young children were with him.

Clermont County court records identify the suspect as 30-year-old Seth Schlueter of Wayne Township. He is now facing nine criminal charges, including aggravated burglary, assault, aggravated menacing, child endangerment, and driving under the influence of alcohol. He remains in custody at the Clermont County Jail on a $200,000 bond.

The incident happened just after 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 11, in southwest Ohio along State Route 727. According to reports from WCPO Channel 9 and WLWT Channel 5, a woman was driving behind Schlueter’s vehicle when it came to a complete stop in the middle of the road. She briefly honked, passed his car, and continued on her way. But that simple interaction would quickly turn into a dangerous confrontation.

Schlueter reportedly began following the woman and ended up at her residence. Once there, he stepped out of his car and confronted her husband on the front porch. Reports indicate the woman, feeling threatened, ran to the back of the house to hide. Her husband followed, likely trying to calm the situation and ensure her safety.

Escalation at Home

While the couple was out of sight, Schlueter allegedly entered the home without permission, bringing his children, each believed to be under the age of five, inside with him. Authorities say he caused damage to the interior of the house before the couple returned and found him inside. At that point, Schlueter is accused of punching the husband in the face and leaving the home with his children.

The injuries sustained by the male victim were reported as minor, and the children were eventually released into the care of a family member. Schlueter was arrested shortly after the incident, and the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office confirmed his charges reflect the serious nature of the intrusion and violence.

What began as a seemingly routine road frustration escalated into a terrifying ordeal for one family. The presence of young children during the incident adds another layer of concern, highlighting the risks involved when anger turns physical, especially around minors.

Law enforcement officials have not released additional information about the extent of damage inside the home. A court date has yet to be publicly confirmed.
