Two men have been arrested in connection with a Tennessee homicide case involving four victims, authorities confirmed Saturday. Both are accused of assisting 28-year-old Austin Robert Drummond, the main suspect in the killings.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) reported that Tanaka Brown and Giovonte Thomas, both 29 and from Jackson, were taken into custody on separate days. Brown was arrested on Friday, and Thomas on Saturday.

According to the TBI, both face charges of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Brown also faces an additional charge of tampering with evidence. He is currently held without bond at Lake County Jail. Thomas, initially detained in Madison County Jail on a failure-to-appear charge, is expected to be transferred to Lake County.

The arrests come as law enforcement continues the manhunt for Drummond, who is wanted for the murders of four individuals discovered earlier this week in Tiptonville. The case began when an infant was found abandoned in Dyer County, prompting authorities to investigate and later discover the bodies of four family members.

Lake and Dyer County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Stephen Sutton confirmed the infant is safe and receiving care.

Drummond faces multiple charges, including four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and illegal firearm possession. Officials noted that he was out on bond at the time of the killings, stemming from a separate case involving aggravated robbery while incarcerated.

Two vehicles linked to Drummond have been located. A white 1988 Ford pickup with red side panels was found in Dyer County. Investigators are asking for any security footage of the truck. His second vehicle, a white 2016 Audi A3, was located abandoned in Jackson.

TBI Director David B. Rausch said Drummond is believed to still be in the Jackson area and should be considered armed and dangerous. Authorities are urging the public to call 911 with any sightings.

The victims have been identified as Matthew Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Cortney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15. All were related, and Drummond reportedly had a past relationship with a member of the family.

While the exact cause of death has not been released, the TBI confirmed all four deaths are being treated as homicides.

“This incident has this community on edge,” Rausch stated.

Officials emphasized that capturing Drummond remains a top priority for federal and state law enforcement.
